Description
Made from the durable, 100% woolen material used by Himachali herders in their blankets, jackets, and caps. The pocket design allows for use as an oven mitt while showcasing the irregular edges which result from the process of hand weaving the cloth. This material is 100% hand spun and hand woven of wool from sheep herded through the Kangra region of Himachal Pradesh, India. Some pieces feature dyed stripes; these stripes are not naturally dyed at this time. Approximately 6 1/2″ square, with hanging loop of handspun wool yarn. These pieces are created from handmade, natural materials, resulting in variations in exact colors and designs.
This material is somewhat water resistant and releases oil stains easily. Hand wash as needed in cool water, lay flat to dry.
